Hope, love, joy

Whew, took a break from posting to this blog…life got a little busy so the blog took a backseat for a few days…anyways, below is the 2006 holiday card I made for my children’s teachers. The tags are mounted with foam tape to give the card a little more dimension.

The checkered red and green ribbons are from the $1 bin at Michaels…I can’t help but take a peek in those ribbon bins each time I go there. Lots of great choices for a great price. Of course, my ribbon collection has expanded exponentially as of late, forcing me to keep finding inventive ways to store my ribbon before the storage box explodes…I’m sure I’m not the only one out there with that problem!

Here are some of the supplies I used to make this card:
• Cranberry and Ponderosa Pine cardstock – Close to My Heart (www.closetomyheart.com)
• hope, love, joy stamps – Hero Arts (www.heroarts.com)
• “season’s greetings” – Hero Arts
• tag punch – Paper Shapers by EK Success (www.eksuccess.com)
